G20 Nations violate United Nations Charter by meeting in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir
Birmingham: The Kashmir Conference held at the Sparkbrook community center in Birmingham was addressed by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, Dr. Khalid Mahmood Khan, who expressed his disapproval of the meeting of G20 countries in the disputed Territory of Kashmir.
The conference, hosted by Raja Fahim Kayani, the President of Tehreek e Kashmir UK, also saw the participation of various leaders, including Patron in Chief All Parties International Kashmir Coordination Committee Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadri, President Tehreek e Kashmir Europe Muhammad Ghalib, President All Parties International Kashmir Coordination Committee Maulana Tariq Masood , Former Secretary General of All Parties International Kashmir Coordination Committee Sahibzada Farooq ul Qadri, Vice President Tehreek e Kashmir UK Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem, Secretary General Pakistan Rabta Council UK, Representative of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf UK Khawaja Inaam ul Haq Naami, President Tehreek e Istehkam e Pakistan UK Iftikhar Ahmed Jugno, Former Councillor Italy Iram Tahir, Representative of Stop the War Coalition Naila Azmat Iqbal , President Tehreek e Kashmir Birmingham Ch Ikram ul Haq and others.
They expressed their concerns about the participation of world powers in the first international meeting held in a disputed region, which goes against international laws and the UNSC Charter.
The leaders presented a joint declaration and announced a protest to be held in Birmingham on May 21st 2023, for the freedom of Kashmir and the establishment of world peace. The conference ended with a special heartfelt prayer for the cause.
