High Commissioner to inaugurate new building of the Consulate of Pakistan, Bradford

Meeting the community and exploring business avenues also on the agenda

H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK, will inaugurate new building of the Consulate of Pakistan at Bradford today.

The new building has been rented to provide better Consular Services to the community. The building is on the ground floor and is equipped with all modern facilities. After receiving the feedback from the community in Bradford about the inadequacies in the previous building, the High Commissioner decided to acquire a purpose made new building with all the requisite facilities. The address of the building is: Bradford Business Park, Unit 1&3 Kings Gate, BD1 4SJ.

During his two-day visit, the High Commissioner will meet the community as a part of the High Commission’s outreach programme aimed to connect with the community, get to know their issues and address them on priority.

The High Commissioner will also meet with the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Leader of the Council and Councillors. Interaction with media is also in his schedule.

To explore the new avenues for enhancing Pakistan’s trade with the Bradford region, is also on the agenda. In this regard, the High Commissioner is scheduled to meet with CEOs of top businesses of Bradford.
