London: HOPEMAN Consultants UK Ltd hosted a high-profile event on 04/12/21 attended by the Diplomatic corps of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey, and the UK. The Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan, members of the House of Lords, and the Mayors of Slough and Ealing were among special guests.

The Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan, H.E. Fuad Muradov emphasized that: ”It is clear that Azerbaijan and Pakistan have a strong bilateral relationship. Azerbaijan has always supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. We must support our brothers in all matters. Both countries are collaborating on many fields from agriculture to high technology.”

Hopeman Consultants staged the event to bring together representatives of the Diaspora communities of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan to share their common perspectives and work together for the betterment of all three communities.

At the event, representatives of the communities exchanged opportunities for business, trade, and culture between the Diaspora communities and with the United Kingdom

The special guest from Azerbaijan Mr. Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora, outlined a strategy for future cooperation in the field of Diaspora work. He emphasized his Government’s view that the Diaspora is a key element of cultural diversity around the globe.

Mr. Kunwar Qutubuddin Khan Chairman Lakeshore Properties and Former MNA Pakistan also explored investment opportunities in real estate in Pakistan.

British Pakistani and Turkish community leaders, Lords, Mayor’s, Councillors, professionals including Professors, Doctors, Engineers, Consultants, Solicitors, Barristers, and representatives from the Pakistan High Commission were among attendees.

The event was hosted by the Cllr Munir Ahmed (The Worshipful Mayor of London Borough of Ealing) and presided over by Lord Sheikh. Chief Guest was Rt Hon Mr. Fuad Muradov, Chairman of Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

Dr. Saboor Javaid, Chairman of Hopeman Consultants UK, presented detailed information about the challenges faced by all four countries and participants proposed several solutions. Dr. Saboor is a leading environmental scientist, innovator He highlighted the environmental problems and solutions to those problems.

Dr. Almas Qazi General Surgeon and Director Hopeman Consultants Health and Social Care services presented the importance and offered telemedicine and mobile health services to the Diasporas and countries of origin.

Lord Duncan McNair, Hopeman’s Programme Director for Human Rights Education spoke about the importance and community education and maintaining traditional values in an increasingly chaotic world.

Other speakers were Lord Qurban Hussain, Councillor Nazir Ahmed Mayor of Slough Borough Council and Dr. Ali, Director of Conservative Friends of Turkey and representative of the Turkish Diaspora.

Moreover, among the chief attendees were Ch Atif, spokesperson of the government of Punjab, Pakistan, Dr. Almas Qazi innovative and general surgeon, Mr. Polad Mammadov, the first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the UK, Councillor, Ch Qaiser, and former Mayor of Chesham, Councillor Naveed Rana, Chair of Parish council Slough. Alderman Mushtaq Lashrie Chairman Third world solidarity UK. Councillor Zahida Abbas Noori, Mr. Asif Ali Khan. All expressed strong support for the Government of Azerbaijan in its stance on Nagorno- Karabakh.

Hopeman Consultant UK have been working with matters of sustainability and the future of Azerbaijan for the past three years in the field of environment, business and trade. Hopeman Consultants were previously part of two international conferences dedicated to environmental pollution in the South Caucasus region. The reality that environmental catastrophes know no borders or ethnicities was highlighted during an event in Portcullis House, part of the UK Parliament, on 18 December 2018. Entitled The Role of the Individual in Environmental Protection in Conflict Zones, the event was hosted by Jack Brereton MP, and organized by Leyla Gasimova from the European Caucasus House, a Brussels-based NGO, with the co-operation of the JKSDMI and Dr Saboor Javaid HOPEMAN Consultants UK. Around 100 multinational Londoners were in attendance, including Peers, MPs, NGO leaders, environmental experts, and international media representatives.

On the 12th of May 2021 conference and exhibition took place, entitled: “The Landmine Epidemic and virtual contemporary art exhibition of humanitarian disaster caused by anti-personal landmines”. The conference was co-hosted by HOPEMAN Consultants UK and the Global Institute for Water Environment and Health (GIWEH) from Geneva and alumna from the University of Manchester Leyla Gasimova.
