Amid India’s onslaught against Muslims, ‘Hijab Day’ declared in UK

LONDON- People in the UK will observe Feb. 25 i.e. Friday as “Hijab Day” as India continues its anti-Islam and pro-fascism policies against Muslims in the country and Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Fahim Kayani, president Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, told a news that on coming Friday, “people in the UK will observed a Hijab Day.”

“We have requested Imams (prayer leaders) of mosques to discuss protection of women rights and importance of Hijab during their Friday sermons,” he said.

Allama Syed Zafar Ullah Shah Chairman Muslim Action Forum , Fahim Kayani President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadari Markazi Jamaat Ahlea Sunnat UK, Mulana Tariq Masood Jamaiat Ulma e Islam AJK UK, Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem President Al-Qalam institute , Khawajah Muhammad Suleman and Ch Ikram ul Haq Jointly announced in a press conference “After congregational Friday prayers, protests will be held against India’s fascist activities which oppress the Muslim community in the country,”

India has banned wearing of Hijab in many areas. The Muslims students are not allowed to sit in the class wearing Hijab while Hindutva terrorist organizations are threatening those protesting the illegal and uncalled for ban on Hijab.

Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadri said “the people in the UK and around the world condemn such acts which are perpetrated by Hindutva regime in India.”

“We will not succumb to these tactics,” he said, adding India has “been doing all such illegal acts in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK) for decades.”

Khawajah Muhammad Suleman Director TeK Information and Research Center said: “it is our prime responsibility to unmask the so-called democratic and peaceful face of India and expose its brutal face of violence which it perpetrates on Muslims.”
Prominent British Islamic scholars Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadri, Allama Syed Zafar Ullah Shah, Maulana Tariq Masood , Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem and Qari Ikhlaq Qadri joined Kayani during the news conference and condemned the rising RSS extremism in India and in IIoJK.
