Kashmir Conference On the Occasion of International Human Rights
London: Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International organised a conference on Kashmir on the occasion of International Human Rights Day at McMillan Committee Room Portcullis House British Parliament. International Kashmir conference was held to raise the voice for the suffering of people of Jammu & Kashmir. It was chaired by Raja Najabat Hussain Founder Chairman JKSDMI. The Keynote speakers were Shadow Minister Jim McMahon MP, Shadow Minister for Immigration Afzal Khan MP, Mushtaq Ahmed Lasharie Chairman Third World Solidarity , Mohammed Azam Secretary General JKSDMI,Overseas Pakistanis Solidarity & Chairman International Human Rights Federation Honourable Javed Ahmed Malik, Raja Sikandar Khan Chairman Global Supreme Council for Pakistan & Kashmir, Professor Shahid Iqbal International Human Rights Movement, Tariq Butt Chairman JKSDMI Yorkshire Region. Ms Luiza Cristina Fernandes Palma Ambassador at Large of International Human Rights Federation Geneva, Ms Pamila Ashraf Vice Chairperson OPS & Ambassador at Large of International Human Rights Federation UK, Ms Naila Shareef executive member of the JKSDMI, Shahida Jarral and others. The speakers shared their views while demanding the British Parliamentarians to organise the fourth Debate in House of Commons to raise the recent Reports and continued Killings of Kashmiri Youth in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. Chairman JKSDMI Raja Najabat Hussain announced “All Parties Conferences on Kashmir” in Oldham, Bradford, Nottingham,Birmingham, Luton, Oxford, Cambridge and London in next two weeks to involve all the Kashmiri & Pakistani organisations in the Kashmir Campaign and to increase the members in Friends of Kashmir Group in British and European Parliament. The participants of the conference also paid a special tribute to Shuhda Jammu who sacrificed their lives for their country. Mobeen Ch President Pakistan Press Club UK, Jamil Tabassum, Shakil Rehman, Mni Mona, Naveed Akbar and others were also present.
