Birmingham: An evening on the journey of the founder of Islamic relief Worldwide Dr Hany El Banna was held at the Bia Lounge. It was hosted by Dr Nasir Awan.

The screening of the documentary ‘The Journey of Islamic Relief’ focused on how Dr Hany El Banna with his colleagues of University Of Birmingham with a donation of 20p is now operating in over 45 countries, delivering aid to over 10 million people each year and in the last 39 years has helped over 145 million people of all faiths, transforming the lives of the worlds most vulnerable people. Established in Birmingham, in 1984 in response to the famine in Africa.
