DFP pays tribute to martyred youth, seeks end to HR violations in IoK
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has paid eulogising tributes to Kashmiri youth who were brutally martyred by the Indian army in Shopian
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the DFP spokesman while condemning in strong terms the killing of youth and desecration of Mosque and the Holy Quran by Indian occupation forces said that such atrocious assaults were meant to hurt the religious sentiments of Kashmiris, which he said would not be tolerated at any cost.
Expressing his grave concern over the alarming situation in the valley the DFP spokesman said that attacks on places of worship constitute a serious crime under international law.
Urging international community to take notice of the simmering situation in the disputed territory he said that it was high time that world must shun its policy of indifference towards the sufferings of Kashmiri people and immediate end to unabated human rights violations committed by the Indian troops against Kashmiris.
Meanwhile, the spokesman also extended his party’s full support to the strike call given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC).
