Birmingham: The unity in the community event was organised by the renowned social organisation, Kal’s Community Projects, at Lee Hall Allotments and Institute in Birmingham.
The event was hosted by director Kal, and KCP team Notably, the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, graced the occasion as a special guest, distributing awards to volunteers, media service providers, and others associated with Kal’s Community Projects. Their commendable work in addressing issues such as knife crime, gun crime, gang culture, and other crime prevention measures were lauded. Also awareness was made to the the wider audience about the services KCP provides and how the can get involved. During the event, Mr. Mohammad, a Young youth Ambassador for Kal’s Community Projects, provided a comprehensive overview of the organisation’s plans and various projects.
The event also featured engaging activities for families and children, including face painting, a bouncy castle, live music, barbecue food, soft drinks, chocolates, and refreshments. Director Kal emphasized the need for extensive efforts to safeguard the youth in the UK from negative activities and crimes. He highlighted the abundant opportunities available to young boys and girls to shape their futures positively.
However, he stressed the vital roles that parents, teachers, and the wider community must play in preventing negative thinking and anxiety from taking hold. Director kal called for consensus and unity to protect the multicultural, inter-religious, and diverse society from negative activities. promote peace love unity diversity. The event also featured representatives from the well-known social and welfare organisation MMI and the renowned artist Rubaya Pirzada, who delighted the participants with their artistic performances.
