Kashmir Solidarity was observed by Pakistani community across UK

Birmingham: Kashmir Solidarity was observed by Pakistani community across UK. On this occasion Pakistan Consulate Birmingham organized an event with Kashmiri community and showed solidarity with their Kashmiri brother and sisters in IOK. Program was started with recitation of Quraan and then Consular General of Pakistan Birmingham Ahmer Ismail read the messages of President and Prime minister of the Islamic republic of Pakistan.The message stated that Pakistan will continue her support to the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for self determination in accordance with the United Nations Security Council’s Resolutions. Pakistan therefore calls upon the international community to play vital role to withdraw the Indian armed forces from the Jammu and Kashmir territory.The dream of peace and prosperity in the region will remain elusive without resolving this dispute. In the end of the program two slogans were raised in the Pakistan consulate Birmingham .MP Khalid Mahmood, Councillor Waseem Zaffar, Ch Manzoor Hussain, Pastor Ajmal Chaughtai, Ejaz Saddiqui, Ch Ali Shan, Raja Mohammed Ishtiaq, Allama Rafique Chishty,Malik Fateh Khan, Raja Sikander, Mirza Fasial Mahmood, Dr Ejaz, Ghazanfar Mahmood and others also attended this event.Report by S M Irfan Tahir Photojournalist / Member National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Great Britain.
