Birmingham: On Sunday 15th May 2022, Melody Masters International, a recognised charitable organisation, celebrated the 50th Birthday of Mohammed Basharat, founder and qualified social worker.
Mohammed Basharat has worked endlessly for the past 8 years to make his dream of creating a safe and welcoming space for people struggling with social difficulties and encouraging real human interaction.
The evening, hosted by Nasrat Rafiq and Veeru Bhai, consisted of outstanding performances with our star guest being the one and only Godfather of Bhangra Channi Singh OBE (Alaap). Other outstanding artists who performed were Amritpal Singh Brar, Ehsaan Ali, Raveen Kumar, Ameen Tady, Jaan Ali Khan, Sugar Arrewala, Zobina Kauser and Fatima Choudhury.
The evening raised awareness of the extremely good work Melody Masters International is carrying out within the community, as well as celebrating the remarkable achievements of Mohammed Basharat personally. The birthday celebration was a befitting tribute to the endless commitment of Mohammed Basharat who risked his own life to help others during the testing period of covid lockdown. This was no ordinary party. The love, respect and unity radiated across the evening symbolising the work of MMI in bringing the community together.
