An annual gala dinner organised by the NODFA was held at Botanical Suite in Derby
Derby: An annual gala dinner organised by the National Overseas Doctor’s Family Association was held at a local hall in Derby. The event was hosted by the head of the organisation, Dr. Kashif Chauhan and the team.
On this occasion, British-born Pakistanis from across the UK, along with their families, made a special appearance. The aim of this event was to make the new generation aware of their culture, traditions, ethics, and civilization, apart from social interaction. On this occasion, the officials of the National Overseas Doctor’s Family Association gave a briefing about the goals and objectives of the organisation, future programs and services for the physicians associated with the public health sector in Pakistan.
On this occasion, special entertainment and talent competitions were organised for boys and girls, which the participants liked a lot. Prominent British Pakistani singer Usman Farooqui entertained the participants by performing his art.
On this occasion, the organisers said that for professionals, a few moments of difference in the busy life of the UK and the time spent with their relatives, colleagues, friends and loved ones in a quiet and peaceful environment is nothing less than a blessing. They further said that the National Overseas Doctors and Family Association will make serious efforts to reform the public health sector in the near future with the mutual co-operation of Pakistani doctors by making full use of their abilities and experience.
