Riyaz Naikoo: Top rebel fighter commander martyred by Indian troops in occupied disputed Kashmir
London: Indian occupation troops have martyred a top rebel fighter commander and his aide in disputed Kashmir, and shut down mobile phone and mobile internet services during subsequent anti-India protests.
Riyaz Ahmed Naikoo was member of region’s largest indigenous rebel group, Hizbul Mujahideen. APHC led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq paid glowing tributes to Riyaz Naikoo and Aadil Ahmed, their struggle for right to Self Determination will continue till victory.
A Special meeting of APHC Pakistan Chapter Islamabad, with Syed Faiz Naqshbandi convener in Chair was held at APHC office, to pay tributes in honour to chief of H M Riyaz Naikoo and Aadil Ahmad, who were martyred by Indian occupied troops at Beighpora Awantipora in Pulwama district, Occupied Kashmir.
Syed Faiz Naqshbandi Convener said that the martyrs will live in the hearts and minds of the Kashmiri people, and they are fighting for Kashmir’s right to self determination.
It is because of Indian terror and occupation, that peace in the region is in danger. Naqshbandi said Riyaz Naikoo was a brave, and straight forward man and his struggle for self determination will be always remembered and would remain the symbol of Kashmirs resistance against Indian terror.
People of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are fighting against Indian occupation and Occupied forces. India cannot crush the Kashmiri people’s sentiment of freedom. Jammu and Kashmir is a UN recognised disputed territory for which the United Nations has passed several resolutions for its final disposition.
Special dua was made for the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir. Syed Ajaz Ahmed Shah, Zahid Safi, Muzaffar Ahmed Shah, Manzoor Ahmed Shah, Zahid Ashraf, Mushtaq Ahmed, Manzoor ul haq BHAT, Mohammed SHAFI and others attended the meeting.
The time has come for immediate International intervention to stop India from committing human rights violations. Despite Indian terror, Kashmiris will continue their struggle for achievement of right to self determination, the peace of the region lies with the Kashmiri people. The gathering of tributes was concluded on the premise that Kashmir will not be silenced and the blood of the martyrs will be respected.
