Geneva: A seminar on the Freedom of Expression and speech in POK & Pakistan was held in Room No 27 at the United Nations Human Rights Council Head Office, during the 37th Human Rights session of UNHRC.seminar was organised by the Organization Association Dunenyo. Hosted by Nasir Aziz Khan Former Spokesman UKPNP, Keynote speakers were M Katala, Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri Exiled Chairman UKPNP, Munir Mengal Baluch Leader, Naeed Khan Canada, Jamil Maqsood Former Foreign Secretary UKPNP, Taha Siddiqui Renown Pakistani Journalist, Atif Touqeer Special correspondence Voice of Germany , Abbas Butt, Baseer Naweed, Dr Hidayat Bhutto Sindhi Leader and Ejaz Paracha. They said Freedom of expression and speech does not exist in Pakistan and the rule of law and democracy is under threat.Freedom of Expression and Journalism are not the strongest friends of the Pakistani establishment. Majadla Newspaper was banned due to using their freedom of expression. The military should work within their limits and boundaries.They should not get involved in the foreign and national policy of the country this is the duty of a parliamentarian.
