Birmingham: Soulful Sufi Musical Night was held in Digbeth Hall Birmingham. Sufiana Kalaam was recited by Amina Sultani Nasheed & Sufi Artist and Tariq Mahmood Punjabi folk Artis. The event was hosted by S M Irfan Tahir TV Anchor and co-hosted by Gazalah Ahmed. Organised by Ikram Mirza, Mohammed Ayyub MBE, Khushi Qureshi and Taiba Hussain. The event was highly successful in achieving its objective of promoting Sufiana Kalaam amongst different communities. People from many different ethnic backgrounds attended the event and enjoyed the wonderful entertainment and delicious three-course meal. The Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Mohammed Azeem and the Lady Mayoress Ms. Bushra Bi, First Muslim Mayor of Northampton Councillor Nazim Iftikhar Choudary, Mayoress Mrs. Iftikhar Ahmed Ch, Mayor of Worcester Councillor Allah Ditta, Member of European Parliament Anthea Mcintyre and Member of British Parliament Khalid Mahmood also attended the event. The Lord Mayor of Birmingham said that such events are important and there should be more of them. Furthermore the Lord Mayor presented awards to Tariq Mahmood Folk Artist, Amina Sultani Nasheed & Sufi Artist, Nasir Khan Director Digbeth Hall and Faraz Ahmed from Dreamtouch Media Productions. Many political and community Leaders were also in attendance. Balwinder Safri the Punjabi Bhangra legend also attended and enjoyed the event.
