Kashmiris stage protests in UK and Europe to observe Kashmir Black Day

London: Kashmiris and Pakistanis in the United Kingdom and Europe overserved 27th Oct as a black day and staged protests, held digital campaigns and other events in various cities in the UK and Europe on the call of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK & Europe.
The main protests were held outside Indian embassy in Oslo Norway, outside Danish Parliament in Copenhagen Denmark and outside the Indian high commission London to mark 74 year of illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir.

While addressing at the protest outside the Indian High Commission London , The President of AJK Hon. Barrister sultan Mehmood Chaudhary said the fascist regime of India has no other option to reverse all it’s illegal actions & repeal laws it has enacted since 5th August 2019 when it completely occupied the region. Britain has a huge responsibility as most Kashmiris are based in the UK & UK is one of the five permanent members of the UN. We trust UK for being a humans rights champion to request UN for a plebiscite soon to put an end of the atrocities committed by India from last seven decades”.

Fahim Kayani President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK said Draconian laws such as Public Safety Act (PSA), Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA), Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) are used to suppress the voice for freedom of Kashmir from Indian occupation. Recently we have seen two Kashmiri youth from Srinagar was charged under UAPA for celebrating Pakistani cricket team’s win against India.

Shah Hussain President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Norway said during addressing the rally outside the Indian embassy in oslo Norway ” India has been committing Human Rights violations in IIOJK since its illegal occupation. About 471 known torture camps, one after every 5kms, have been identified where 99% of detainees are tortured.”

Adeel Ahmed President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Denmark said while addressing at the rally outside Danish Parliament ‘“After stripping the Kashmiris of their limited autonomy, the Narendra Modi government is now trying to alter the demography of the occupied territory and undermine Kashmiri identity.Kashmiris face unabated extrajudicial killings, custodial torture, and death, arbitrary detentions, burning and looting of houses.
