Birmingham: The British Royal Navy has job opportunities for the younger generation. Asian parents must move forward for a brighter future for their children said Durdana Ansari OBE during her visit to the local temple. Hon Commander Durdana Ansari OBE was awarded the title Honorary Commander with the consent of Her Majesty the Queen, for the Royal Navy In 2018. She has been appointed as an Instructor for the Royal Navy, where she works with other Naval Officers to help them achieve greater diversity within engagement and recruitment. Moreover, she is a BAME Community Engagement Officer, where she collaborates with different communities from all walks of life. In this role, She helps the Royal Navy to understand the sensitivities and cultural backgrounds of these communities. Her aim is to aid the Royal Navy in recognising the potential of the younger generation of BAME members living in the UK. Having these objectives in mind she visited the Christian Church (All Saints Darlaston Church) in Walsall and to meet several young energetic individuals who are seeking for career opportunities.
