Birmingham: United for the Human Rights Peace Conference was held in the remembrance of the martyred of Jammu and Kashmir, at the Church of Scientology Moor Green Lane Moseley. The event was hosted jointly by the Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) and the Church of Scientology. It was Presided by Dr. Saboor Javed. Keynote speakers were Raja Najabat Hussain Chairman JKSDMI, Maulana Mohammed Usmani, Mr. Awil Hussain MBE, Director Church of Scientology, Ms. Vaneesa Kelly, Wajid Ali Burkey, Ch Mohammed Azim and other. They expressed their views on Human Rights violations in Kashmir and said the Indian Armed forces were breaking and destroying the natural Human Rights in Indian occupied Kashmir. They are killing, raping and torturing innocent Kashmiris. They condemned the act of Indian military administration to transfer Human right activist & Founder of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Asiya Andrabi in Tihar Jail. Furthermore they condemned the continued unlawful detention of prisoners who had already spent their life sentences and raised concern about prisoners who were made to remain in prison until death. JKSDMI and Church of Scientology agreed to work together in the near future for peace, harmony and human rights. In attendance were Gazalah Ahmed, Ch Pervaiz, Firdous Baig and others.
