British Kashmiris, KDF and NHS COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Campaign in Luton

Luton: Kashmir development Foundation in collaboration with the NHS has launched a Vaccination Campaign to raise awareness about Flu and Covid 19 Vaccine to increase the uptake of booster Jab and Flu Vaccination in Luton, UK.

The Campaign is aimed at the people who are at risk of reduced immunity against Covid -19 and Flu. KDF has organised a information sharing activity outside the Central Jamia Masjid Luton and distributed flyers containing information in Kashmiri community languages Pahari, Urdu and English regarding Covid -19 Booster and flu Vaccination.

On this occasion, local councillors, political, social and religious leaders joined KDF volunteers in the leaflet distribution and Walkabout activity.

The flyers were delivered to houses in and around the majority areas of Kashmiri and Pakistani community area. Sardar Aftab Khan, Executive Director, Kashmir development Foundation, Councillor Khadija Malik Cabinet member for Public Health and Social Care Luton Borough Council, Choudary Asif Masood, Deputy Mayor Luton Borough Council, Tahir Malik Former Mayor and Councillor Luton Borough Council, Choudary Qurbaan Central Mosque Luton, Malik Shafaat Central Mosque Luton, Dr Tahir Lone GP, Sardar Sabir Gull, Sardar Asif Sharif, Syed Tehseen Gillani, Fayyaz Qureshi and senior Journalist Israr Ahmed Raja participated in the activity and appreciated the initiative by Kashmir Development Foundation and NHS.
