Birmingham: An Expert Chinese Doctor converts to Islam.Dr. Chaun Nan Yi, an Expert Chinese Doctor converts to Islam at Qadria Trust based on his meeting with Dr.Sarwar Khan and Religious Scholar Sahibzada Pir Mohammed Tayyab ur Rehman Qadri , Chairman Qadria Trust UK. Dr. Nan Yi enthusiastically embraced Islam during an event held in Qadria Trust chaired by the Chairman Qadria Trust UK, Mr. Pir Mohammed Tayyab. Dr. Chaun Nan Yi is Deputy Director in Paediatrics and Internal Medicine. He is a member of GCTCM and is also registered with Swindon Borough Council. He started his medical training at the age of 13 from his father Mr. Yi Yan Kang (China’s most famous Senior Doctor). He obtained his Bachelors degree in Medicine from Nanjing Railway Medical University in 1984. He went to Xia Medical University for his Masters in Medicine.He has been working in China Beijing Hospital for 20 years. He has done specialisation in Internal Paediatrics, Infertility, Cancer, Neurology and Heart Disease.While expressing his feelings regarding his conversion to Islam he said that Dr. Mohammed Sarwar Khan is a big inspiration for him and it was Dr. khan who has encouraged and motivated him towards this beautiful religion.He further added that he went to Masjid several times and met with other Muslim brothers there and he got impressed by their welcoming behaviour.Coverage By:S M Irfan Tahir Photojournalist National Union of Journalist (NUJ) Great Britain.
