Walsall: Walsall Football Club has officially opened a multi-faith prayer room for the first time. In this regard, an important ceremony was held at the Walsall Football Ground where the Chairman of Walsall Football Club Leigh Pomlett formally inaugurated the Multi-Faith Prayer Room by cutting the ribbon in the presence of representatives of the Union of Muslim Organizations – Walsall (UMO) and Walsall Churches and others.
The project has been made possible through joint funding from the Union of Muslim Organizations – Walsall (UMO) and Walsall Churches. Adam Davy, Director Walsall FC Foundation, Joe Clark, Chaplin Walsall FC, Mohammed Arif, Chairman Union of Muslim Organisations- Walsall and Dr Adeel Riaz General Secretary, Union of Muslim Organisations, Walsall hailed this important step by the local football club for interfaith harmony, mutual relations and partnership.
