Birmingham: The West Midlands Transport Conference took place at Birmingham’s Edgbaston cricket stadium and was organised by Invergold, with Charlie Ahmed, CEO of Invergold Associates Ltd UK, serving as the main organiser.

The event was hosted by Andrew Drewary, while Craig Flindall welcomed the attendees on behalf of Edgbaston Stadium. Miles Dorrington, the Traffic Commissioner for West Midlands, shared crucial information on ensuring compliance for lorries, buses, and heavy vehicles to help owners avoid substantial fines and inconveniences.

During the conference, various speakers, including Philip Breen (DVSA Earned Recognition National Account Manager), David Somers (Managing Director of Road Skills Online), Nina Day (Transport and Public Services Unit, Engagement and Policy Division, HSE), Rob Stephens (Principal Route Engineer at Network Rail), Chris Lee (Former TFL Coach and Buses Delta Bus Consultancy), Philip Lapczuk (Policy Enforcement Manager at DVSA), Carolyn Evans (Transport Lawyer), David Cooper (Understanding Roller Brakes), Maria Biddulph (Highways Agency), James Barry (West Midlands Police), Aaron Lowe, Tony Hanley (Lloyds Bank), and others, shared their insights on various topics relevant to the conference’s importance.

Participants engaged with the guest speakers, asking questions that were satisfactorily addressed by the speakers. In closing, CEO Invergold, Mohsin Ahmed, expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests who had traveled from both near and far to attend this significant conference.
