London: Tehreek e Kashmir UK organised Online National Councillors Convention titled : Brutal lockdown and Demographic changes in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir , the Convention was chaired by Raja Fahim Kayani President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and moderated by Ms Uzma Rasool . Councillors from more than 20 councils of the United Kingdom participated in the Convention and His Excellency Sardar Masood Khan President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was chief Guest and Senior Kashmiri Hurriyat Leader Altaf Ahmed Bhat was guest of honour.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has said that Kashmir has become an important issue in the world. Kashmir has been fighting for its independence for the last 200 years. There was bloodshed in Kashmir while in occupied Kashmir in November 1947, more than 237,000 people were martyred by the Indian occupying forces in a single month. Occupied Jammu and Kashmir had a large Muslim majority at the time, but later attempts were made to turn Jammu into a Hindu majority. At present, the Indian government and the Bharatiya Janata Party in occupied Kashmir have been active in turning Kashmir into a Hindu majority and that is why a lockdown was imposed on Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir under a conspiracy. Last year, the Indian government also increased the number of troops imposed on Kashmiris from 700,000 to 900,000 and this 900,000 Indian army has cut off the Kashmiris from the world by shutting down the communication system and others in Kashmir.
The situation in Occupied Kashmir has changed completely since August 5. India is facing worldwide condemnation for the steps taken by the Indian government in Kashmir after August 5, which has drawn international civil society, international media, Think tanks, lawyers, lawmakers, MPs, UK MPs have spoken out against India and asked questions in this regard, but in the last three months the world’s attention has been diverted from Kashmir to other issues. Efforts were made and at the same time we came across a dangerous virus like corona virus. India took two other steps In October last year, India divided Kashmir into two parts. Which included Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir with Delhi as its capital. Despite having a separate Jhada and a separate assembly, this measure was imposed on Kashmiris without the consent of the Kashmiris. However, the mastermind of all these measures is sitting in Delhi and taking all these steps.
After dividing Kashmir into two parts, it was announced with reference to Ladakh that it would not have an assembly in the future and after this process, India also made fake maps regarding Kashmir in which this division was also mentioned. ۔ A new domicile law was also introduced in Kashmir. This illegal law is a clear violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions. He expressed these views while addressing a conference on “Online Lockdown and Occupational Changes in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir”. ۔

During the conference, senior Hurriyat leader Altaf Ahmed Bhat thanked Fahim Kayani President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and others. Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that he has always raised his voice in favor of Kashmiris and has always condemned Article 370. Today is the first time I will speak in my Kashmiri language today. You are all the voice of our heart because you are talking about occupied Kashmir. In occupied Kashmir, mothers, sisters and innocent children have been oppressed in every era, be it Manmohan Singh or Modi.
The Kashmiri nation has been suffering oppression for 72 years and you have conveyed the voice of oppressed and unarmed Kashmiris to the houses of the world. In which especially in countries like UK, Europe and USA now there is talk for the rights of Kashmiris. I congratulate you on behalf of the youth, Hurriyat leaders who were martyred in Occupied Kashmir. President Masood Khan has always proved to be a true leader of Kashmiris.
Today, I pay tribute to Fahim Kayani and other councillors for the work you have done at the grassroots level that has forced international leaders to speak on Kashmir. Instead of being part of this agenda, the work you have done to commemorate them will be written in golden letters in history and the role of the Kashmir movement in the UK will also be written in golden letters .
The government of Pakistan also announced 8 8 billion. If Occupied Kashmir is part of Pakistan, then in this regard I also demanded from Prime Minister Imran Khan that 2 billion should be announced for the victims of oppression in Occupied Kashmir. They are not offering their blood for Kashmir but are making sacrifices for Tehreek-e-Takmal Pakistan. It was difficult for the Pakistani rulers to get this money there but if they left this money on the UN table they would say it is your job because you have given justice to the people of the world so I am sure it will give a new lease of life to the movement. Would fall The world says that if Pakistan and other parties are not allowed to go there, the United Nations can play an important role. The only fault of the people of Kashmir is that they are Muslims and that is why their voice is not heard.
We have no fight with the Hindus, the Hindus have a mindset and are using new methods every day on Modi, Ajit Deol and other Kashmiris, we have seen reports that it is time that we want to see practical steps to stop this oppression. Steps should have been taken. New domiciles have been issued while 300,000 domiciles are in the final stages of issuance. Talking to the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Altaf Ahmed Butt said that the number of families of one million army is only 500,000. He has built houses for the families of every army officer while more than 200,000 houses have been built so far. At least 10 people live in a house, which means 2 million people will be housed in those houses and the total population is 3.5 million. In the next five years, their number will be many times more than our 8 million. After four or five years, people themselves will say that there should be no referendum because the proportion of population in Kashmir is being changed under a specific agenda that if a referendum is held five years later, it will be in their favor. If UN resolutions are to be brought, this is the time. Building 200,000 houses in Kashmir is not an easy task. Land has been allotted for three major military bases in Kashmir.
You are the representative of Kashmir. Tell the world that Kashmiris have done everything they had to do, including the independence movement. The whole world is living because of corona virus but Ninder Modi, Ajit Deol, Ajit Shah are destroying houses. In the case of Fahim Kayani, Ladar Nazir, Raja Najabat, Professor Shawl, Ali Syed Raza, Azmi Rasool and others, you have intensified the movement which you have started after 5th August.
