Safoora Zargar has been released from Tihar Jail
New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia University student Safoora Zargar has been released from Delhi’s Tihar Jail. Safoora Zargar was granted conditional bail by the Delhi High Court yesterday. Safoora is accused of being involved in the Delhi riots. After her release, Safoora’s husband went to the jail to pick her up. Zargar, dressed in a shalwar suit, did not speak to anyone and left in her husband’s car.
Safoora Zargar, who is facing hardships due to imprisonment under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act, was granted bail by the Delhi High Court yesterday. Safoora Zargar’s bail plea has been rejected by the lower court before. Under the FIR, Safoora has been taken into custody the conspiracy Inquiry Delhi riots.
