Soft launch of ‘Pakistan Students Portal’ at the High Commission

London: A soft launch of ‘Pakistan Students Portal’ took place at the Pakistan High Commission London on 25 January 2023. A large number of Pakistani origin students currently enrolled at various UK universities attended the launch. The students would be able to register themselves with the High Commission through the Portal. The platform would bring Pakistan origin students together under a single umbrella of “British Pakistani Students and Young Professionals Organization” which will provide them with robust networking and professional development opportunities.

Addressing the students, High Commissioner Moazzam Ahmad Khan said that around 100,000 British Pakistani and international students from Pakistan remain enrolled in the UK universities at any time of the year and reaching out to them was Mission’s priority. The High Commissioner hoped that Portal would prove to be an effective means for networking, sharing information and searching for jobs and internships.

The students appreciated the initiative of the High Commission and expressed keen interest in registering on the Portal which will go live in the first week of February 2023.
