Birmingham: 10 October is observed as World Homeless Day to prevent and end homelessness and alleviate the suffering of those experiencing it.
In this regard, an important event was held in Birmingham, the second largest city in the United Kingdom, organised by the well-known charity organization Feedo Needo.
On this occasion the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Zafar Iqbal MBE, Cabinet Committee, Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care Councillor Mariam Khan, Chief Executive Officer Feedo Needo Zahid Bhatti and others distributed food and gifts among homeless, deserving and needy people. A free hairdresser was also arranged for the homeless, and in view of the weather, hot tea, coffee, and other items were also provided.
The women of the Pak-UK Fusion Society also distributed food and drinks among the homeless as a gesture of goodwill.
