Defence Day to be observed at the Pakistan High Commission London in third week of September 2017
To mark the Defence Day of Pakistan, a commemoration ceremony will be held at the Pakistan High Commission London in the third week of September 2017.
September 6 is a memorable day in our national calendar when the Pakistani nation demonstrated unprecedented unity and stood by the valiant armed forces to thwart a serious aggression by the enemy. The Day symbolizes nation’s resolve to protect Pakistan at any cost.
On this occasion, rich tributes will be paid to the people and the Defence Forces of Pakistan for safeguarding the sovereignty of their motherland and defending its borders at the cost of their lives.
The ceremony will be attended by Diplomats, Defence Attachés, representatives of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), Pakistani community, media persons and think tanks notables.
