Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day at the new community centre in Birmingham 23rd November 2023

Birmingham: Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day was celebrated at the new Community Centre in Birmingham on 23rd November 2023. The Bosnia & Herzegovina UK Network organised the event, where distinguished guests visited the new building and were briefed about its functions.

The network has been providing practical and psychological support to Bosnians, Ukrainians, and Syrian refugees forced to flee their homes due to wars. The grand celebration at the New Community Centre hall included guests such as Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Chaman Lal, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom His Excellency Osman Topcagic, Deputy Lieutenant Amrick Singh Ubhi DL, Dr. Waqar Azmi OBE, Chairman of Remembering Srebrenica UK, Manager of Bosnia and Herzegovina UK Network Anes Ceric, and others.

Congratulating the Bosnian community worldwide on Statehood Day, they shared a universal message of peace, love, prosperity, dignity, tolerance, cooperation, and unity.
