Children of Pakistan Organised Grand Charity Dinner | Crystal Plaza Banqueting Suite | Birmingham
Birmingham: Children of Pakistan (COPE) held a grand Charity Dinner on Sunday 4th December at Crystal Plaza Banqueting Suite. The sold out event had a gripping line up from start to finish.
The main aim of the event was to share a recent field trip carried out by Founder and Chairperson of the charity, Nasrat Rafiq and her husband Mohammed Ayub. A video presentation highlighted the 8 day journey which covered four provinces of Pakistan. A brand new project to build an eye hospital in Bannu, KPK was also launched.
The event was hosted by 18 year old Maryam Ayub whose debut was in line with COPE’s effort to develop and encourage young people to participate in charity work. A surprise for young COPE Junior sisters Layla and Maryam was one of the highlights of the night where a new school classroom was built with funds raised by the youngsters.
The evening featured Nasheeds, fundraising and a delicious 3 course meal. A quiz which involved audience participation was a great hit with guests who left smiling, enlightened and entertained.
