Better to take the path of dialogue than to shed crocodile tears over the loss of human lives: DFP

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has said that in order to stop the violence and bloodshed in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir, it is necessary to take the path of dialogue so that this long standing human and political conflict can be resolved according to the will of the people living here.

The party spokesman said in a statement that the political belief of Mr. Shabir Shah, the imprisoned party chief and senior resistance leader is also based on the fact that issues can be resolved through dialogue. For this, the parties to the dispute must be sincere. When the path of stubbornness and inflexibility is adopted instead of dialogue and negotiation, the inevitable result is violence. Then there is the history of conflicts for those who lose their lives in this furnace of violence.

It is better to find a way to resolve the conflict than to shed crocodile tears over the loss of innocent human lives. In any case, it is well-known about the troubled areas that the wheat is often threshed along with the barley, so the resistance leadership of Kashmir and the freedom-loving people appeal to the institutions of justice all over the world to persuade New Delhi to abandon the path of confrontation and find a way out of it, and the only way to do that is to take steps to create a conducive environment. Only in a free and fair environment can a negotiating table be set up and only through such a process of negotiation can a solution be reached.
