JKNF urges Kashmiris to celebrate Eid with austerity
Islamabad: Senior vice chairman Jammu and Kashmir National Front Altaf Hussain Wani while extending his heartfelt greeting to Muslim Ummah has appealed the Kashmiri people to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with austerity and take care of less privileged segment of the society.
In his Eid message Mr. Wani said that the true spirit of Eid-ul-Bakr lies in sharing and caring for the less privileged and poor who deserve to be remembered and supported on this auspicious occasion. Referring to the victims of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir, he said there are hundreds and thousands of orphans, families of martyrs’ and jailed Hurriyat activists, who really deserve to be supported during these times turmoil.
He said that Eid-ul-Adha, which gives us the concept the concept of sharing and caring, also reminds us of our political, moral and religious obligations towards the national cause for which hundreds and thousands of Kashmiris have laid down their lives.
