Pakistan Defence Day Celebration at Royal Nawab in London | WNTVUK

London: Pakistan Defence Day was celebrated at the Royal Nawab in London. This was organised by Pakistan Community Guild UK. Organisers team Roomi Malik, Zahid Bhatti, Zahid Raja, Mohammed Waqas, Waseem Ahmad, Razaq Raja, Shahbaz Mukhtar, Abdul Naveed, Naeem Ulfat, Shoaib Rasheed and Saj Butt. The day was hosted by Akila Sharif and Ricky Lobu. The programme was initiated with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem of Pakistan. A one minute silence was observed in remembrance of the people who were martyred in the 1965 War. The Government of Pakistan’s representatives, local community leaders, member of the house of lords, member of the house of common , political, social and many other prominent personalities paid huge tributes, to those who sacrificed their day, for the nations of tomorrow. They exchanged and shared the vision of a rising and emerging Pakistan. The honourable guests and participants shared a feeling of passion and patriotism. Keynote speakers were MP Naaz Shah, Lord Qurban Hussain, Christina Baker, Munir Ahmed Mayor of Ealing, Sahibzada Amer Jahangir, Aneel Mussarat, Honorary Caption Royal Navy Durdana Ansari OBE, Hon. Alderman Mushtaq Lashare CBE, Nasir Khan President PTI West Midlands, Anwar Ayoub Raja, Serving mayors and many others. They expressed their views and expressed appreciation for the huge contribution that the Pakistani community has made, including the huge contribution in the United Kingdom in a variety of services. A special performance was performed by Rowshanara Moni and others. distinguished guests enjoyed the evening. Also present were Abdullah Mushtaq, Abid Zaman Khattak, Amer Khan Awan, Abid Khan, Habib Khan BEM, Maqsood Hussain, Tauseef Ahmed Mayor of Red Bridge, Councillor Kashif Haroon, Rana Abdul Sattar President PTI UK, Mohammed Aslam Butt General Secretary PTI UK, Mayor of Slough Mohammed Nazir, Former Mayor of Hounslow Councillor Nisar Malik, Councillor Riaysat Ali, Councillor Tariq Dar MBE, Barrister Huma Price, Zeeshan Mian, Rubab Malik, Mariam Musa Daughter of General Musa, Councillor Naveed Rana, Naz Hussain Former Mayor of High Wycombe, Shanaz Parveen and others. On this occasion, special awards were also presented in memory & remembrance of the late martyrs, General Musa Khan, Lt Col Dr Ilahi Bakhsh, Caption Javid Iqbal, Caption Ali Raoof Magsi, and Sahibzada Amir Jahangir and others.
