Pakistan High Commission London observes Solidarity Day with the Palestinians

On the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Pakistan High Commission London observed Solidarity Day with the people of Palestine today. A large number of the diaspora and representatives of media were in attendance.

On this occasion, special prayers were offered for the Palestinians after the Jumma Prayer. It was expressed that the Government and the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their Palestinian brothers and sisters. Full political, moral and diplomatic support was expressed on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan.

The use of force by Israel against innocent Palestinians was strongly condemned.

The international community was urged to take immediate action against the use of live ammunition by Israel, killing 62 innocent Palestinians including women and children and injuring thousands.

The human rights organizations were also appealed to raise their voice against the atrocities.

It was underscored that crimes committed by Israel are not only crimes against Palestinians but are indeed crimes against humanity, which need to be condemned at all forums.
