Kashmiris stage protests in UK cities against Indian atrocities in IIOJ&K

London 23, April 2021 : Protests against Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir were held on Friday in various cities of the United Kingdom on the call of Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) the UK.

The demonstrators were carrying placards to expose Indian atrocities committed by the Indian army in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
President of Tehreek e Kashmir UK Raja Fahim Kayani said that the silence of the United Nations on the plights of Kashmiris was very unfortunate.

Mr Kayani called upon the United Nations to help release all detainees, especially political prisoners and human rights defenders in IIOJK; repeal draconian laws such as AFSPA and PSA; allow UN-supervised investigations into cases of extra-judicial executions and other serious and systematic human rights violations.

Secretary-General Tehreek e Kashmir UK Midlands Azam Farooq said that Freedom is the Birthright of Kashmiris and India cannot usurp it with its occupational forces in occupied kashmir. Target Killing youth, Molestation of women and demolishing houses has become a favortie tactic of indian forces but they will never succeed in refraining Kashmiris from the demand of freedom from India.

CEC Member Tehreek e Kashmir UK Shabir Hussain said that It’s high time the developed world takes notice of the Kashmir issue, World leaders, Intl Organizations, P5 and UNSC must intervene to save humanity in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Senior Vice President Muslim Conference UK Ch Ziarat Hussain while expressing his views said that Indian occupational Forces have started target killing Kashmiri Youth in the month of Ramadan, houses are being demolished. There is chaos and unrest in the valley, since 5th August 2019 people are being continuously tortured.

Founding Member Tehreek e Kashmir UK Ch Allah Ditta while expressing his views said that The countless sacrifices made by Kashmiri brothers and sisters will never go in vain, Kashmiris will get Freedom which is their birthright and as promised to them by the resolutions of the United Nations.

Tehreek e Kashmir Birmingham leadership Muhammad Javed, Dr Arif ,Ansar Raja, Anwar Aziz and Muhammad Tariq also expressed concerns over the killing of innocent Kashmiris in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
