Birmingham: Welcoming Ramadan Charity Appeal Dinner was held at the Birmingham hotel. Local political, social and business personalities participated in large numbers on this occasion.
Renowned Naat and Nasheed artist Michael Mala recited the Holy Quran and Nasheed on this occasion. Charity was also raised to build Jigsaw Village for displaced Syrians located in the safe zone near the Turkish border in in Idlib, Northern Syria.
Speakers amongst the volunteers of Jigsaw Village, while giving a detailed brief to the attendees, stated that Jigsaw Village is a ray of hope and a symbol of life for Syrians who have fled their homes and witnessed unimaginable horrors.
