Birmingham: A conference marking 30 years since the Srebrenica genocide was held at the Bosnia House in Birmingham. Organised by the Bosnia and Herzegovina UK Network in collaboration with De Montfort University Leicester, the event was co-hosted by Dr. Kim Sadique, Associate Professor at De Montfort University, and Anes Ceric, CEO of the Bosnia and Herzegovina UK Network.

The conference aimed to reflect on the three decades since the genocide, delving into lived experiences, educational efforts, and current challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina. A poignant performance by Mirsad Solakovic depicted a child’s experience and trauma. The event concluded with an engaging panel discussion.
