Tribute Paid to Syed Maududi at Sparkbrook Islamic Center by Syed Mawdudi Foundation

Birmingham: Special tribute paid to Syed Abul Ala Maududi at Sparkbrook Islamic Center . Organised by Syed Mawdudi Foundation UK and was hosted by Mohammed Ghalib President Tehreek e Kashmir Europe. On this occasion Dr Fareed Paracha Naib Ameer Jamaat e Islami Pakistan addressed attendees in detail through a video link and elaborated the visionary thinking and life of Maulana Maududi late. Keynote speakers were Zia ul Haq President UK Islamic Mission UK, Rana Waqar Ahmed, Ejaz Ahmed Saddiqui, Barrister Rashid Mirza, Zahid Ch, Khawaja Mohammed Suleman and others. They expressed their views and stated that Maulana Maududi described the meaning of Islam and his vision. They want Sharia to be observed in our homes, in our judiciary and in our lives. In his book he also guided us to follow the Quran and Sunnah. If we want to be a good mentor we should follow the philosophy of the Maulana Maududi. He was against the division of the Islamic nation. He tried to unite the Muslim community through Jammat e Islami. His Tafheem ul Quran Translation of the Holy Quran was a great asset for the entire Muslim ummah. In attendance were Mufti Abdul Majid Nadeem, Khawaja Inam ul Haq Nami, Mian Maqsood Ahmed, Hafiz Mohammed Idrees, Allama Mohammed Madni, Dr Khurram Bashir, Dr Mohammed Khalid, Main Akhtar Ali, Sardar Aftab Khan, Mudassir Baseer and many others.
