Black Day was observed in the Pakistan Consulate of Birmingham

Birmingham: Black Day was observed in the Pakistan Consulate of Birmingham.27th of October is being remembered as the “Black Day” in Pakistan, Indian Occupied Kashmir and globally as a protest against the occupation of the Kashmir, when India had forcibly taken over the land on 27th October 1947. Humanity continues to suffer as the Indian siege of the Occupied Kashmir enters 85 day, the Consul General, Ahmar Ismail said to the media on the occasion of Black day at the Pakistan Consulate, Birmingham today. The Pakistan Consulate has been regularly observing solidarity with Kashmiris since the siege started on 5th August 2019 with unilateral measures by India to change the legal status of Kashmir. Today’s expression of solidarity also marked Kashmir Black Day, which the Kashmiris observe on 27th October every year. Sardar Khan Khattak Vice Consul General of Pakistan, Birmingham , Member British Parliament Khalid Mahmood, Simon Foster candidate for West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Zaffar Ahmed Qureshi from Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Ranjit Singh Sarai from World Sikh Parliament UK expressed their views and stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been resisting the Indian occupation for the last 72 years. They are involved in a fierce freedom struggle, facing the worst kind of Indian state terrorism. They strongly condemned the worsening human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir. They requested the international community to intervene and force India to stop the illegal occupation in Indian Occupied Kashmir and give Kashmiris freedom and their natural right to self determination. In attendance were Mr Haroon Jameel, Sardar Youga Singh, Ch Manzoor Hussain, Ch Khadam Hussian and others.
